Though I do love Hanging Valley a bit more, that's nothing against their debut — to me, this is the most rhythmically compelling post-punk act of the 2010's. This LP is a so rich in tones and textures, verging close to shoegaze while still feeling like an angular, chiming post-punk album. No need to skip anything, cuz every song's good.
